Spring 2023 ELR Shoot Orion

ELR Shoot (800yd – 1 mile) at Orion Firearms Training, Llangurig, Wales.

This shoot is designed for those using HME and Magnum calibre rifles. You must arrive with a zeroed rifle and DOPE that will enable you to shoot to 1 mile (1760 yards). This will be a pairs match utilising the Orion ELR course of fire found in the Courses of Fire section of the member’s area.

Meet at 8:30 AM at the Maescurig Car Park in Llangurig, from here we will drive in convoy to the firing point with our RO for the day.

Please ensure you bring a vehicle capable of driving off-road and clothing to match the weather conditions. There are tea/coffee making facilities available while the range is not in use. Apart from firing point one, there is no weather cover unless you sit in your vehicle. Lunch is not provided and you must bring your own, there are no facilities to purchase or heat up lunch.
